Pedestrian Killed on Highway 71

OPP say a pedestrian is dead after he was struck by a transport on Highway 71, just south of Sioux Narrows.
The crash occurred just before 4 o’clock Sunday morning near Fickas Road.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Dayton Kavanaugh of Northwest Angle.
The Highway was closed for roughly 8 hours as a result.
No other details have been released.
