Penalty for Walleye Over Limit

An Atikokan man has been slapped with a thousand dollar fine after
pleading guilty to overfishing.
The 40-year-old was stopped last May on Marmion Lake and Conservation
officers discovered the man had 7-walleye over the legal limit.
The officers seized the fish and released nine that were still alive
back into the lake.
