Red Lake’s Pete McLeod has moved up two spots and now sits fifth in the Red Bull Air Race standings.
The jump comes after a fourth place finish for the only Canadian racer at the latest series race in Budapest, Hungary.
McLeod reached speeds of 370-kilometre an hour on the high speed, low-altitude track.
He says overall it was a good race and his team made some good progress, but notes he’s a bit dumbfounded as to where he lost time in the final.
McLeod adds they are going to look at the data and the lines to try to figure it out.
The next Red Bull Race is mid-August in the United Kingdom.
