Pikangikum School Update #1

A team of Senior Officials with Indian and Northern

Affairs have returned from a trip to Pikangikum.

INAC met with Pikangikum leadership, and education

officials Tuesday.

Indian Affairs Spokesperson Tony Prudori says they’re

figuring out how to proceed after the communities school

burned down.

Prudori adds school has breaked for the summer, and

graduation is scheduled for next week.
