Pikangikum School Update #2

Senior Officials with Indian and Northern Affiars Canada

recently met with Pikangikum School Leaders.

INAC is discussing with the community their education

needs, after the First Nation’s school burned down.

Indian Affairs Spokesperson Tony Prudori says they’re

looking into speeding up construction of the government

promised new school.

School in Pikangikum has breaked for the summer, and

graduation is scheduled to take place next week.
