The Provincial Government is handing the Dryden Regional Health
Centre over $17,000 to implement a new program for late career
nurses.
The project will take 4 nurses away from their regular duties and place
them in key roles that are less strenuous.
Hospital Spokesperson Darlene Furlong says they hope the project becomes utilized as a recruitment and retention tool.
Furlong says there will be no reduction in service and nursing numbers
will be maintained.
