Program for Late Career Nurses 2

The Provincial Government is handing the Dryden Regional Health
Centre over $17,000 to implement a new program for late career
nurses.
The project will take 4 nurses away from their regular duties and place
them in key roles that are less strenuous.
Hospital Spokesperson Darlene Furlong says the program could become an
important tool down the road.

n049 runs: 16 sec. out…on-going basis.

Furlong says there will be no reduction in service and nursing numbers
will be maintained.
