Program for Late Career Nurses

The Dryden Regional Health Centre has launched a pilot project aimed
at easing the workload of nurses aged 55-and-up.
The Province is monitoring the innovative program and has provided over
$17,000 in funding.
Hospital Spokesperson Darlene Furlong says it gives late career nurses
a break from regular floor duties.

n048 runs: 21 sec. out…the organization.

Furlong says they hope the project becomes utilized as a recruitment
and retention tool.
