A protest over pipeline development in Canada resulted in traffic chaos for about an hour Monday afternoon in Thunder Bay.
Just over 100 First Nations protesters blocked traffic at the busy intersection of the Expressway and Memorial.
Danielle Gregory says the Canadian government isn’t helping their cause, accusing them as using her people as pawns in a corporate agenda.
Gregory says she’s been at protests in North Dakota where they were met with full SWAT teams.
Gregory notes she wanted more people at this protest, but feels Thunder Bay is too poverty stricken for people to think they can make a difference.
