Plan Needed for Forestry Industry

The President of the Ontario Forest Industries Association is calling
on the Province to immediately implement the recommendations contained in a
recently released forestry report.
Jamie Lim says 3 of the suggestions would help turn around the
industry that is on the verge of collapse.
Lim says 12-Mills in Northern Ontario have been identified as being at
risk which would in-directly lead to the loss of over 17,000 jobs.
She adds the Province’s plan to provide loan guarantees does nothing
for struggling Mills.
