A public meeting is being held at the Dryden Best Western Wednesday night to discuss the possibility of establishing an exchange program to bring post-secondary students here from France in order to learn more about local agriculture.
Chelsea Szachury says our area has great opportunities so it would be ideal for foreign students to come and learn.
The meeting is set for 6 o’clock and is being organized by the Canadian Network of French Agricultural Education.
Szachury is urging anyone who operates a farm or small business dealing with agriculture to attend the gathering.
