Plastic Bag Ban Debated in Sioux Lookout

It has sparked debate since it was passed and its once again in the forefront in Sioux Lookout.
Were talking about the ban on plastic bags.
The issue will once again be debated at the Council table tonight (Wednesday) at 5:30.

The Municipality has been seeking input on the new by-law and has received several letters on the issue.
A number of people are asking that Council rescind the controversial by-law.
The bylaw was approved last September but set fines weren’t set until just recently.
