The Dryden Ice Dogs are saying goodbye to some players and welcoming some new ones.
Before Christmas, the team acquired goaltender Robert Kopytek-Mackenzie, who came from the Toronto Redwings Midget AAA.
In addition, the team welcomes Mack Boyce from the Burlington Cougars of the OJIHL and Evan Capobianco, who played two seasons with the Milton Ice Hawks of the OJIHL and was acquired through a trade from the Brampton Bombers of the GOJHL.
Also at the trade deadline is forward Dominic Blouin, who played for Fort Knox of the PJHL in Saskatchewan.
Dan Morin, Kim Wildhaber and Tyler Newsome had all requested trades and are now gone. Defenseman Josh Winter was released at the trade deadline.
