The North American Free Trade Agreement will be up for renegotiation starting on August 16th.
Speaking in Kenora last week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the U.S. is Canada’s most important trading partner and feels an agreement is possible that’s good for both sides.
Trudeau says both countries rely on one another, noting there is no other relationship like it in the world.
He says that must be protected.
Trudeau adds “the right deal will benefit everyone”.
