Police are keeping their investigation open into the deaths of two Winnipeg children and their mother, noting many questions remain unanswered.
A body pulled from Winnipeg’s Red River on Saturday was that of 32-year-old Lisa Gibson, who went missing four days earlier when her two children were found in critical condition in their house.
The toddler girl and infant boy were pronounced dead at hospital.
Police say Gibson was the last person to be with the children,
but won’t comment on reports she suffered from post-partum
depression.
