Police Investigating Death Of 6-Week-Old Child

A post mortem has been scheduled for today following the death of a young girl in Big Trout Lake First Nation.
Provincial Police say 6-week-old Shantelle Sainnawap was transported to the community nursing station Monday night, where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation continues.
