Police Presence in Sioux Lookout

You may notice more cops on the streets of Sioux Lookout the next 2 weeks.
11 current and new recruits from Northern First Nation communities are in town for training.
Most have recently graduated from the Ontario Police College and are in Sioux Lookout the next 6 days to prepare for their role in policing First Nations.
Officers will take part in a ride along program as well as receive training in suicide prevention, assault and cross-cultural sensativity.
