Police Scale Back Search for Missing Men

An underwater search for three American anglers north of Kenora has been suspended.
The OPP say after consultations with Ontario Power Generation and the Lake of the Woods control board they have determined the water conditions below Maynard Falls are too dangerous.
Two of the men are from Freemont, California.
The other is from Ames, Iowa.
Their boat capsized after getting caught in the current on Maynard Lake and went over the falls.
OPP say they will continue their search along the shoreline.
