Police Union Says Charges Are Travesty

The Ontario Provincial Police Association says charges against a Terrace Bay OPP officer are a travesty.
The Special Investigations Unit laid charges against Constable Brian McCracken for excessive use of force during an arrest in January.
The driver of a stolen vehicle was shot in the arm during a confrontation along Highway 17 near Pays Plat.
Police Union President Brian Adkin says the charges are surprising and unjustified and could lead to future charges of this nature.
