Another step has been taken to help aboriginal students in the
Keewatin-Patricia School District.
The Board has approved a self-identification policy, the first of
its kind in Ontario according to Director of Education Janet Wilkenson.

Wilkenson says aboriginal students in the District are at risk and she
believes the Province should provide more funding to help them perform
at the highest level.
