The new Liberal government will sit for the first time in the House of Commons on December 3rd.
The first thing they will do is choose a speaker.
Assistant Political Professor at Mount Allison University Mario Levesque expects they’ll try to tackle a few issues before the winter break as well, such as a national inquiry into missing indigenous women in Canada and Canada Post.
He also expects they will address the infrastructure file as well.
