Local residents are pouring cold water on a suggestion to increase the Harmonized Sales Tax to pay for local infrastructure upgrades.
82% of respondents to a CKDR News Poll indicated that they wouldn’t support a hike in the HST for community improvements.
The original suggestion came from the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
