Fundraising for a new CT Scan Unit at the Dryden Regional Health Centre are moving into high gear.
The organizers of “Shake Your Booty” confirm the current machine is officially unusable and beyond repair.
The machine suffered water damage following a leak at the hospital earlier this month.
Co-Chair’s Debbie Lindquist and Charlene Everett were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Monday and they stated that you can still grab a seat for the May 12th ladies-only event at the Memorial Arena.
Tickets are $85 and there will be a buffet dinner, fashion show, giveaways and live music.
The “Dream Believers” have put on the fundraiser for a number of years now, to support health care initiatives and equipment upgrades at the hospital.
Lindquist and Everett stress they have a great group of organizers, noting the fundraiser brings the community together in support of an important cause.
