Pope John Paul Remembered Locally

The life of Pope John Paul the Second will be remembered during a
pair of special ceremonies in Dryden.
Father Luigi Filippini says a memorial will be held at St. Joseph’s
School on Friday and a mass will take place at St. Joe’s Church a week this Wednesday.
Filippini says the pontiff holds a place in his heart because John Paul ordained him in 1980.
He notes the Pope was truly a special person that was concerned with
the well being of everyone.
