Poppy HST Rebate

Ontario is vowing to reimburse veterans groups who paid
the harmonized sales tax on poppies for their annual Remembrance Day fundraising campaign.
Finance Minister Dwight Duncan says he’ll refund the provincial portion of the HST on poppies.
It’s still unclear whether the federal Conservatives will do the same, but a spokeswoman for Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said an announcement would come soon.
