The Cassidy Romyn rink from Sioux Lookout has ended the Northern Ontario Junior Women Provincial Curling Championships on a high note.
The team picked up their first victory of the tournament with a convincing 8-2 win over Ashley Payne of Fort Frances on Monday.
Romyn finished the playdowns with a 1-6 record.
The playoff round is Tuesday at the Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club.
