It was a record breaking December across northwestern Ontario.
A new high was reached in Dryden at -7.0, clipping the old record of -7.1 set in 1939.
The December mark was 7.5-degrees above the average temperature.
CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says that followed a trend for 2015.
The average temperature for the year was 3.5-degrees, just above the normal of 2.1.
Looking ahead, Laidlaw says it should get really cold for the rest of January and February.
However, he’s predicting a warm Summer.
