North American Palladium is showing some first quarter strength.
The mining giant says it took in $64-million in the first three months of this year, a 31% increase over the same time last year.
President Phil du Toit says that, along with increased palladium prices, bode well for their Lac Des Ille mine north of Thunder Bay.
He says it enhances both operational and expansion opportunities.
Du Toit says they were also able to reduce production costs at the mine during the first quarter.
