Northwestern Ontario will benefit from Toronto’s new transit plan.
The Provincial Government is contributing $8.4-billion to construct a new 25-kilometre L-R-T line in downtown Toronto.
Premier Dalton McGuinty says the 130 L-R-T cars needed for the line will be built at the Bombardier Plant in Thunder Bay.
