Police in Western Canada are wondering whether a bank robbery in
Kenora earlier this month has any connection with a string of unsolved
heists in British Columbia.
RCMP are investigating a couple of bank robberies in Vernon and
Kamloops on August 25th and believe they may have been committed by the
same suspect.
45-year-old Dean Joubert was arrested on September 5th fleeing Kenora
after the Scotia Bank was robbed.
Joubert remains in custody.
