Possible New Mine in Atikokan

The former Steep Rock Iron Ore Mine in Atikokan could be a busy site once again.
Bending Lake Iron Group has identified the former mine as the site of a new iron ore processing plant.
Mayor Dennis Brown says the company plans to assist in clean-up efforts at the site.
Brown says pending government approval, the company could begin construction this summer.
