Power Restored In Dryden

Hydro One is reporting power has been restored to all customers in the Dryden area.

The lights went out briefly this morning due to high winds.

CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw reports the windy stormy weather is expected to continue for a couple of days as an intense low tracks east from the Prairies.

There are still some 700 Hydro One customers in the Borderland region that remain without power after wind gusts of up to 80-kilometres an hour knocked down trees and power lines.
