At least six people are confirmed dead , and 64 others are injured in a massive fire in a high rise in London, England. 20 of those people are in critical condition.
Metropolitan Police say the fire started early this morning in the 24 storey building in North Kensington. Over 200 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade are battling the blaze and over 100 medics from the London Ambulance Service are also on scene.

Residents in the high rise and in neighbouring homes were evacuated.

The Mayor of London has tweeted that he is truly devastated by the horrific scenes of the major fire at Grenfell Tower. He added that there will be a great number of questions in the coming days as to the cause of this tragedy.
