Preliminary Work Underway at Dryden Mill

Preliminary work on the installation of a new turbine at the Dryden Domtar Mill is underway.
Company Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says they are in the very early stages of construction.
Skene says some equipment is coming in but notes equipment delivery is expected to continue right through the summer.
She adds some work remains with the Provincial Government on connections.
The Domtar Mill received $22.7-million from the Feds last summer for the turbine.
The project is expected to boost electrical production by 128,000 megawatt hours per year.
