Doug Ford says there is a housing crisis in Ontario and Ottawa is to blame.
A spokesperson for Premier Ford says the Federal government encouraged asylum seekers to illegally enter Canada.
The statement goes on with a direct quote saying “this mess was 100% the result of the Federal government and should be paid for by the feds.”
The Trudeau Liberals have pledged $50-million to help Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec with the influx of asylum seekers.
Provincial leaders have stated that’s not enough money.
