Premier Hears Concerns Over Thunder Bay District Jail

Premier Kathleen Wynne says employees frustrated with the Thunder Bay District Jail should bring their concerns to local MPPs.

Speaking to our newsroom, she understands the aging building will need to be fixed up while staff wait for a facility to be built.

She says Bill Mauro and Michael Gravelle have been strong advocates and will ensure immediate concerns will be dealt with.

Wynne understands that temporary measures will be needed.
