Premier Hoping To Avoid Work Stoppage

Kathleen Wynne says the government is committed to reaching an agreement with high school teachers.
Instructors across the province have said they’re within weeks of going on strike.
But the premier is hoping a work stoppage can be avoided.
Wynne says negotiations are always tough, but they are pushing for a suitable deal.
This is the first round of negotiations since Ontario put a new bargaining system into action.
