Concerns remain whether or not the provinces will be ready when cannabis is legalized.
Premier Doug Ford says his government will be working closely with police, police agencies and associations to help them prepare for the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Ford says consultations will be held in order to get their input as the province drafts a plan in preparation of the October 17th implementation date.
He notes the number one concern is to educate children and tell them smoking pot is not healthy.
