Conductors and locomotive engineers with Canadian Pacific Railway have ratified a new four year deal.
The contract, reached after a brief strike in May, had the support of about 65% of members with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference.
The union says the agreement includes wage increases totaling 9%.
It also addresses the issue of fatigue, with workers now able to book three, 48-hour rest periods a month, instead of two.
3,000 workers are impacted.
