If Dalton McGuinty gets his way, this November’s Municipal elections will see Council’s elected to serve a 4 year term.
The Premier dropped that little bombshell this morning at the Good Roads Conference in Toronto at the same time he announced the Government would spend $300 million to move to a true 50-50 cost sharing of land ambulance services by 2008.
Dryden Councilor Bill Brown calls the move a good start but wants to see more done.

In regards to the 4 year term, Brown says it is a pretty good idea though the length might scare off some potential candidates.
