The Dryden Eagles never held the lead, but a furious third period
comeback gave the Girls hockey team a 4-4 tie against Fort Frances Monday night. Meghan Pinette and Darci Everett scored 8-seconds apart late in the
third to force the tie.
Stephanie Robinson and Sarah Montgomery added singles, while Kelsey
Furest made 31-saves to earn her second tie of the season.
The playoffs start Friday with Dryden taking on Fort Frances and
Kenora facing the ‘A’ Champion Sioux Lookout Warriors.
