Prenatal Program Offered by Health Unit

The Northwestern Health Unit is promoting its prenatal education program in local communities.
Spokesperson Kathy Bryck says classes are offered to soon-to-be parents in a group or individual setting.
The classes address prenatal nutrition, physical activity, the role of a labour coach and dealing with premature labour.
Bryck says the classes are offered two to three months before someone’s due date.
