To mark the end of Pride Month, festivities will be taking place across the City of Dryden Saturday.
Celebrations will start at City Hall with speeches at noon.
That will be followed by a march to Cooper Park for a number of public events.
Spokesperson Catherine Kiewning says there will be games, family activities as well as other highlights.
Kiewning says if the weather doesn’t cooperate, everything will be held at the Memorial Arena.
She stresses Pride Day is important as it’s a very personal moment for several individuals in the community.
Kiewning says all they want is a loving and accepting community to call home.
