An increase in traffic at St. Joseph’s School has caused serious safety concerns.
The school currently has over 446-students and 50-employees and is also home to a Best Start program.
A total of 20-buses are assigned to drop-off and pickup students each day.
Principal Mark Lugli approached Dryden Council Tuesday night with a couple of suggestions to ease concerns.
Lugli is asking the Traffic Committee to consider Spruce and Evergreen Streets a one way street.
He is also asking the City to consider the area a high priority area when it comes to snow removal as well as reducing the speed limit on Parkdale to 40-kilometres an hour.
