Projected Evacuee Hosting Bill for Sioux Lookout

The Town of Sioux Lookout has payed the bill for its role in the forest fire crisis this Summer.
Mayor Dennis Leney says they’ve passed a resolution approving the payment of expenses related to the hosting of evacuees.
Leney estimates the costs at about $500,000.
The Municipality has made the move on expectations of getting reimbursed by the Federal Government.
