The Wabigoon Lake Ojibway First Nation is hoping to draw more visitors to the area by promoting its culture.
Through various partnerships, officials want to develop the White Pine Ojibway Interpretive Centre.
Dryden has thrown its support behind the proposal.
The facility would focus on aboriginal culture, artifacts and traditional practices.
Officials with the First Nation also hope to conduct tours of the area showcasing other attractions.
If the proposal moves forward, Wabigoon Lake would lead the charge to secure start-up funding.
