Proposed Riding Changes

Howard Hampton thinks Northern Ontario should be entitled to one extra riding, not losing one under proposed changes.

The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission is holding public hearings examining the issue and will likely make its final report in the new year.
The Commission is proposing to reduce the number of seats in Northern Ontario from 11 to 10.
