The impending closure of the Dryden Medical Clinic has forced local physicians to draft an action plan to help cushion the blow.
Dr. Peter Ryan and Dr. Stuart Ford will retire from their practise this summer which will leave about four thousand local residents without a family doctor.
Dr. Carl Eisner is President of the Dryden Medical Society and says local physicians and the Dryden Hospital have talked about establishing a walk-in clinc.
He says talks are in the early stages.
Eisner adds the hospital would try and find room the clinic in its office block or new renovated west wing.
