The O.P.P. have chaged nine protesters involved in the blockade of the Kenora By-Pass last week.
The nine are all Ontario residents and have been charged with an incident last Thursday when about 100 protesters blocked off the Trans-Canada Highway to protest clear-cut logging in the Grassy Narrows area.
Protesters allege as many as 30 police cars were involved in
stopping vehicles outside of the Grassy Narrows First Nation over the weekend.
All nine people charged have been released and are due to appear in Kenora court on September 18th.
