Province Addressing Insurance Costs

The provincial government says it’s taking more steps to reduce auto insurance premiums.
New legislation is being introduced today to crack down on insurance fraud.
Finance Minister Charles Sousa says that’s just one of the things they are doing to reduce insurance rates.
Sousa notes they are eliminating the issues of disputes and accelerate benefits to crash victims.
Sousa suggests the province is on target to reduce auto insurance premiums by 15% over two years.
